Beto's Bar and Kitchen — Reviewed!

Beto's Bar and Kitchen is the latest addition to the NIBM area. The restaurant exudes vibrancy, color and coziness! Eye catching interiors add to the contemporary resto bar. One of the key features is the outdoor area with Cabanas reminiscent of old European charm.

Interiors are done with the mix of graffiti and use of recycled products. At the entrance, you can see the half truck stuck in the wall. The restaurant has three divisions in terms of seating preference. while outdoor with a big ship area which has the private and privileged space for a group of 10-15 people, indoor has big bar area with large sofas for big groups, cupid area for couples and another outdoor with cabanas for romantic dinners or lunches. Some area is left for dining or party under open sky.

Recommendations:

  • Cheese Chilly Croquettes
  • Potato Gilani
  • Veg Crunchy
  • Bharwa Tandoori Aloo

Mocktails are ranged at Rs.200. I tried Peach Belleni, Orange Blanco, Black Currant Cooler and Melon Mojito. All were equally good but my preference was Black Currant Cooler. Fruity, Tangy, Delicious it was.

Coming on to the food, the menu is multi-cuisine offering a lot of varieties. We started with the Italian Pimento Salad which is a good to go recipe to pair with any meal or drink. Mushrooms, Red and Yellow bell peppers, Broccoli, leaves were mixed in mayo and beautifully placed in in the center of the arranged watermelon slices. It was soothing, healthy and fresh.

Cheese Chilly Croquette was next. It was Crunchy, fantastically cheesy and a scrumptious appetizer. Served with some bell pepper rings which were equally crunchy and to balance to palate greens were also served. Perfect start of a delicious meal. Highly Recommended!

One of their speciality, Potato Gilani (didn't see on the menu) was served next. Trust me this was the star dish of my meal. Seasoned mashed potato patty topped with really delicious corn, mayo and finished with sour cream. One bite and party of flavours in the mouth. I would Highly Highly recommend!

Coming from the continental section, I had Veg Crunchy. Mixed vegetables deep fried and tossed in sweet chilli sauce, soya sauce to balance the palate. Slight tangy, spicy taste with the crunch of veggies made it irresistible. Recommended!

Bharwa Tandoori Alu is their one of the best signature dishes. Do Not Miss it! I repeat, Do not Miss! Baby Potatoes are stuffed with paneer, spices and marinated for few hours to let the potatoes absorb the juices. I loved the way it was barbequed with perfection. On the same line, who wants to avoid carbs can opt for Tandoori Stuffed Mushrooms. Highly Highly Recommended!

With all lot of scrumptious appetizers, we moved on to have some Italian main course and what can be more fulfilling than Veg Lasagne. Layers of cheese, veggies and pasta sheets baked perfectly. I think this dish was death by cheese! Loved it though.

Last but not the least Apple Pie with Vanilla Ice-cream to end our meal on a sweet note. A classic dessert with flaky crust, apple slices, sugar, nutmeg. Overall a heavy dish which was complimented with the Vanilla Ice-cream. Recommended!

Guys, a place worth visit for good food and lovely ambience. Enjoy few more photos...Also, a big shout out for Vishakha and Rahul Jain for keeping the spirits high in Pune. Good going guys! Keep it up.
