Pool Side Dinner – What an idea at Hyatt Place, Hinjawadi — Reviewed!

With the scorching summers setting in, foodies in you can't stop you to explore places. What would you ask for other than a pool side restaurant, scrumptious buffet spread, music, and drinks flowing. The ultimate luxury, the al-fresco pop-up restaurant at Hyatt place, Hinjewadi is a romantic dining destination in summer evenings. Blue, Brown, White shades accents with greenery provide a chic romantic ambiance for candle light dinners. Cool breeze, pool side tables, surreal climate makes it a wonderful place to dine-in. A different concept for evenings and lazy weekends for relaxed time with family and friends.

The menu is a mix of multi cuisines ranging from Indian, Mexican, Italian and Continental. During my weekend stay at Hyatt Place, I had a chance to dine in at the pop-up restaurant and trust me that was an amazing experience. We started with the Lebanese Chickpeas Soup. Mild, warm, fragrant, delicious stew with the balanced taste from the middle east with chickpeas, zucchini, bottle gourd, and tomatoes.

Salads were next. Grilled vegetables with Balsamic Vinegar, Koshimbir Salad, and Spicy Guava Salad were my favourites. Each and every ingredient of the salads were fresh with balanced spices. I love the bit sweet and tart taste of guava with red chili seasoning. Also, the grilled veggies were perfectly tossed with Balsamic Vinegar.

I could not take my eyes off the hot chhole tawa and the stacked kulchas. There was a separate live counter for it and it is not to be missed as it is their signature. Soft, fluffy, buttery kulchas with hot Delhi styled chhole, medium spiced topped with green chili will surely leave your taste buds asking for more. A highly recommended dish!

Live counter for grills and tandoor too didn't disappoint. We tried tandoori paneer which was marinated and grilled nicely. However, I like my tandoor to be chargrilled. You can also get hot tandoori roti or naan to go with the main course. I skipped and moved to the DIY Italian Pasta counter nearby. Had penne in red sauce with ample amount of veggies. Loved it.

Desserts were placed beautifully. Pastries, Indian sweets and so much that you would be spoilt for the choices. Red velvet gateau, Rajbhog were some of my favourites. I have stayed there for the weekend and the blog post on it will follow. Stay tuned. Do not forget to book your tables alongside pool this summer. I am sure, it will be one memorable dining experience.
