When we talk about festivals in India, food is an integral part and especially in monsoons. We need no reason to celebrate, deck up and enjoy scrumptious food. In the holy month of Shravan, Barbeque Ville has come up with the 'Sawan ko Aane Do', Vegetarian and Dessert Special Food Festival. Located in Kaspate Vasti, Wakad, Barbeque Ville is a promising and value for money place to enjoy barbecue.

Enough parking space is available. The elevators take you to the restaurant on the second floor. The restaurant is crowded even on weekdays, I would recommend to pre-book the table. Since it is a sawan food festival, all vegetarians can rejoice and have one more reason to visit this place. Loads of veg food and additional desserts apart from the regular menu and that too at no extra cost!

Staff is all decked up in the traditional attires. The seating is comfortable with sofas for larger groups and tables for smaller groups. We took our place and quickly were served the 'special' welcome snacks which had two plates - One had fried items like samosa, peas kachori, spring rolls and other had steamed ones like dhokla, khaman, paatra. What a perfect way to start the meal.
Also, they have recently started with the mocktail. I liked the Chocolate based one more.
Then came the grills on the table. Pre-marinated and semi-cooked veggies in skewers were set and after a couple of minutes, they were ready to eat. Also, side by side, regular starters like cajun spiced potatoes, paneer khada masala, manchurian, corn salt n pepper, bbq pineapple were served. Apart from this, they do have live counters for chaats and patrons can devour pani-puri, masala-puri, sev-puri, dahi puri and more and that too unlimited!

Starters and grills are served on the table, however, soups, salads, main course and desserts are placed in the buffet. That day, main course buffet had a variety of Indian and Chinese food like Rajasthani Gatta Curry, Paneer Rajwada, Turai, Dal Panchratna, Burnt Garlic Noodles.

The desserts are too additionally placed during 'Sawan ko Aane Do'. I loved the live Jalebi and Malpua Counter apart from the regular assortments of Gulabjamuns, Coconut Halwa, Phirni, Gulkand Barfi, Chocolate Balls, Mousse and also Ice-creams. You will surely be spoilt by the choices they have to offer at such an affordable price.

Due to over crowd, service was bit slow but the staff were courteous and friendly. In addition to the food and ambience, you will be entertained with the dance performance by the staff on some peppy numbers. So, enjoy food along with good music. Overall, it is a wonderful place serving grills and loads of variety of food at a decent price. Would love to visit the place again.
