One of the sophisticated Bistros in Jaipur's latest dining scene is the Sugar Bistro and Co. which is located behind the notable World Trade Park in Malviya Nagar. Take a few steps to enter the world of classic bistro having minimalist ambiance, scrumptious food, and courteous staff.
Tastefully done decor, use of blue and beige, wooden furniture, hanging artificial planters, mellow music in the background are some of the features of this wonderful bistro. Apart from indoor seating, one can also opt to sit and enjoy the leisurely outdoors. Colorful frames with food quotes adorn the wall and comfortable seating makes it a perfect place to hang out!
The menu ranges from Indian, Continental to Chinese. One can sip some sinful frappes or grab a cup of cappuccino with the small bites. We tried the following from the menu...
A surprise was the Bhaji with Hot Fondue. With the Fondue in mind, I had visions of it presented in the communal pot over a stove however it was hot bhaji in a bowl and bite-sized pav chunks. Nevertheless, the taste of Bhaji was perfect – medium spiced. I could not take my eyes off the cute, soft, fresh pav bites. Addition of Cheese would have done wonders.
Thin crust Farm House Pizza was served next. Broccoli, Bell Peppers, Jalapeno and Cherry Tomatoes were loaded over the thin, nicely cooked pizza base. Delicious! You can also order their popular Pasta or Mexican Burger.
Had to try something from the Indian cuisine. So, ordered Sugar Special Tandoori Platter. A good choice if you are looking for multiple choices in a single serving. Beautiful presentation! The platter had Malai Broccoli, Paneer Tikka, Mushroom, and Hara Bhara Kebab. Each one was fresh and delicious. Tikkas had scrumptious marination and Kebabs were beautifully made. Loved it! Must try!
