Ignite at Courtyard by Marriott came out as a blessing for all the professionals working in and around Hinjewadi. Now they can relax and take a break without compromising any amenities. Ignite has it all — exciting entertainment, remarkable food and impeccable ambience. Ladies too can have relaxed weekends with "Ladies night" – On the house entry and hand crafted cocktails for the ladies on every Friday. Ignite has a separate entry and first thing that attracts you are the seven private cabanas and two community tables with pit inserts in addition to casual seating. Cabanas are comfortable, personal space where one can cherish private time. People also can enjoy the live kitchen that serves delectable grills of superior quality meat & seafood along with equal dishes for vegetarians like me. The dishes can be custom made as per one's choice of nine marinades. Their 3 signature sauces namely HOT,SWEATING,KILLER are perfect accompaniment.

Its a heaven for Non-Veg food lovers with Ignite Signature Glazed Pork Ribs (Rs. 1575), Lamb Chops (Rs. 2275) and Gilled Jumbo prawns (Rs. 1875) but Vegetarians too are not left behind with delicacies like Southern adventure – Malabar paratha with coconut stew ( Rs. 575) and Phirangi Kadhai with Ignite naan (Rs. 575).

We were served with Ignite Veg Sampler which was chef's choice of starters. Chef chose Beetroot Galouti Kebab, Gunpowder Cottage Cheese Bites, Mushroom Trifolati and Caprese Skewers for starters. Beetroot Galouti Kebabs were smoked tender patties with crisp. I wanted it to be more melt-in-mouth but certainly lamb mince (authentically made Galoutis) are soft and juicier than beetroot so difficult to get the same texture and taste in the vegetarian part. Gunpowder Cottage Cheese Bites - tossed in southindian spices, were one of my favourites on the platter. Mushroom Trifolati was tossed with onion, garlic and jerk spice giving it a nice flavour. Caprese Skewers was fun to eat, small skewers had mozzarella, cheery tomatoes and olives marinated in pesto. It was super delicious. A must try!

Next on the main course was Falafel and Sumac wrap— beautiful cone shaped wrapped twisted pita bread, stuffed with falafel, pickled vegetables and hummus with french fries.

Mouth-watering it was. Then came Southern Adventure—a twist in malabar parantha. Curried southern vegetables were stuffed in rolled malabar parantha and cut in half for the ease of eating. Accompanied by Coconut stew. They made a delectable combination.

Phirangi Kadhai had all exotic vegetables in thick rick gravy along with special Ignite naan. Nice twist to the Indian version of veg kadhai.

Cottage Cheese and Pineapple Mille-feuile was unusual with alternate layers of cottage cheese and pineapple for tangy and savoury flavour. One of the dish I would love to eat again and again!
Most awaited part of a meal is desserts and yes they arrived—Gelato with a twisted taste in White Chocolate and Rosemary and Guava and Chilli. Rosemary added a flavour to the ice cream and it worked for me instead of Guava.

Star of the evening was Chocolate Caramel and Peanut Bomb. Icecream in the Chocolate mould was melting when hot caramel was poured over it! Such a bliss... Watch the video to witness its magic.
