Mexican Fiesta at 212 All Day Cafe and Bar, Phoenix Market City, Pune — Reviewed!

I have visited the 212 All Day Cafe and Bar before and trust me it is a place which offers food and liquor for the senses, a place where one can relax, sit back, enjoy with friends, family. Recently they had come up with Mexican Fiesta, a Mexican food festival which had few regional specialities. When you think Mexican, you think of Tacos, Tequila and a riot of colors and flavours. Delectable food, colorful outfit of servers, vibrant atmosphere, cheerful staff is all what you need to energise your visit to a restaurant.

The menu of Mexican fiesta though was limited but it surely had offerings which one can't refuse. It had cocktails, but on special request, two mocktails were happily served to us. Watermelon and Jalapeno mocktail was refreshing, alluring with a dash of spicy Jalapenos. A symphony of balanced flavours to compliment each other. Highly Recommended!

Another on the table was Cancun Sunrise, a fruit base mocktail with succulent, frothy fresh peach juice with sweet and sour flavour. Loved it!

Vegetarians can choose from Nachos, Chimichangas, Habanero Cottage Cheese, Tortilla Crisps, Bruschetta, Taquitos. While Non Vegetarians can opt for Chicken, Prawns, Lamb Taquitos, Fish Taquitos, Chicken skewers. All the menu is curated with a fusion by Chef Vijay.

I ordered Fiesta Nachos, a fully loaded plate with refried beams, pico de gallo, jalapenos, queso sauce, olive and topped with sour cream and guacamole.

Cottage Cheese made excellent combo when tossed with spicy Habanero ketchup and served with Crispy fries and Jalapeno Dill mayo. One of the best dish with well marinated, crisp cottage cheese with spicy sauce! Highly Recommended!

Chimichanga is a deep fried burrito. At first sight, looked like Samosa chaat but it was soft tortillas rolled with veggies, deep fried and served with salsa and sour cream. Totally filling with beautiful presentation! One bite and bunch of flavours in your mouth. Yumm!

Taquitos alike soft tacos were rolled with veggies, roasted tomato salsa and sour cream. Crisp, crunch and spiced veggies make it a delicious dish.

Grilled bread loaded with refried beans, grated cheese and topped with pico de gallo named Mexican Bruschettas was again lip-smacking! Bread was crisp, perfectly grilled and the topping was flavoursome.

Our wonderful lunch meal came to an end with my one of the favourite dessert, chef's special, Triple Mud Pie. Sheer Indulgence it is. Chocolate lovers should not miss it!

I wish Mexican Fiesta to continue!
