Lost the Plot – Rooftop Cinema – Experience good times! — Reviewed!

Looking for a place with open-air theatre and scrumptious snacks? Lost the Plot, Pune's first rooftop cinema and bar, is the place for you. Visiting this place is an experience in itself. Located on the top floor of the Seasons Hotel, Aundh, one can have a great time with the loved ones under starry night sky. As soon as you enter, you can see all the elements inspired by the top movies, be it Wilson, volleyball from Cast Away or the iconic strings form the movie The Godfather. The whole ambience is filmy! You can even play board games on the table while waiting for a friend.

Big screen  showing classic, cult, popular and foreign films and big sound delivered through the high quality, wireless headphones under starlit sky is such a wonderful thing!
The menu is pretty easy and scrumptious. They have relaunched a new range of dishes keeping the hotsellers as in. I was there for the new menu tasting. We started with the Captain Jack's Colada mocktail, with mixed orange juice and pomegranate syrup. Bit sweet it was.

Started our meal with the comforting Mama's Tomato Soup, served with garlic bread. The soup was warm, balanced taste, and the garlic bread was just too delicious.

Toasties on the other hand were loaded with three cheese and grilled to perfection. It was served with wafers and their signature hot sauce. The Pimento cheese toastie was just perfect. I would go again to have that.
Nachos were not so 'Macho'. They were layered with refried beans, homemade cheese sauce, topped with salsa, sour cream and olives. I wish they were layered well and taken care of the baked nachos. Overall the combination didn't work out for me.

Vilayati Bhajji were exotic veggies coated in sambar masala and batter fried. Loved the crispiness and the texture and the flavour. I liked the red capsicum and zucchini.

The thing that I was curious about was Mooli Parantha. Nice shredded radish stuffed flatbread served with sauce. The taste was nice, missed the generous filling though.

Finger food and Naan Pizza goes hand in hand. Naan was topped with classic Italian toppings with an overpowering flavour of garlic.

Thai Noodle Soup Bowl was delicious with all the intact flavours. It had bit of rice noodles cooked in coconut milk and infused with thai spices. It was tasting majorly like Thai Curry. Added noodles could have made it a better filling meal. Taste wise, it was superb!

Watermelon Rasmalai made a different visual in my mind. It was a nice combo with a piece of rasmalai over a chunk of watermelon.

One of the best part of the evening was the Churros with Dark Chocolate Sauce and Salted Caramel Sauce. Churros were with right thickness, light, fluffy and coated with generous amount of cinnamon powder. Tasted best when dunked into salted caramel sauce. Yumm it was.

Overall, it was an experience in itself. A beautiful place to sit, watch movies, enjoy food and have a great time. They have weekly schedules and one can check or book them beforehand on their website.
